Types of basketball baskets

One of the questions that often arises is how tall the baskets are. We can find a great variety of basketball goals, such as the fixed ones that are anchored to the ground, the transportable ones, which allow their mobility from one place to another in a simple way or the anti-vandalism ones, which are usually more resistant and safer. Although there are different models, what does not vary are the measurements, both in the height of the hoop and in the dimensions of the board. These measurements are standardized and approved according to the regulations.

In this regard, we must differentiate between basketball baskets, which are those used from 12 years of age, and basketball baskets for children, which are those used for children from 6 to 12 years of age. The latter are known as mini-basketball.

The height of the basketball hoop is 3.05 meters. And this height is the one that applies in any country or league for adult basketball, whether for men’s or women’s basketball. This measurement is taken from the ground to the top of the hoop.

He built two courts in his Marbella Club, with some modifications, integrating the fence in place of the walls.
