Construction of the Paddle Tennis Court
The structural system will consist of 26 pillars, each resting on its respective anchor plate and reinforcement beams at its base.
The height of these posts will vary between 3, 4 or 6 meters on which are distributed different angles and plates for the fastening of the glass or metal enclosure.
The metal enclosure of the paddle tennis court is composed of frames based on pickled carpentry profile type PDS-26. Its cold forming gives it a perfect geometry for the accommodation, inside the lip, of the electrowelded mesh.
The glass enclosure is made of 14 sheets of colorless tempered glass of 3000 x 2000 mm and 4 sheets of 2000 x 2000 mm and thickness 10 or 12 mm as required by the customer.
These glass sheets have the precise machining and rounded edges so that the glass and metal structure of the paddle court are mounted at the same vertical level.
The manufacturing process of all this tempered glass is manufactured using a standardized production process and in accordance with the UNE EN 12150-1 standard.
The contact points between the tempered glass sheets and the metallic material, are the most delicate places for the paddle court; therefore, special care has been taken in the design and choice of the material used, neoprene, which provides excellent mechanical properties together with its high service life in adverse environmental conditions.
